Every once in a while you come across something perfect. Something utterly complete. This little 10 minute animation is that, for me.

<>Earlier this year I read Jung’s description of the power of mandalas to address the inner self and the the outer everything, to express and effect the psyche. He wrote, "I sketched every morning in the notebook a small circular drawing, a Mandala, which seemed to correspond to my inner situation at the time. With the help of these drawings I could observe my psychic transformations from day to day."
He described madalas as vessels into which we project our psyche.
Here is a mandala painted by Jung:
I’ve done a few circular paintings this week… (Click to see them BIG)

"Stanford University radiologists used a CT scanner to look inside an unopened, intact 2000-year-old mummy. The image is a winner in the 2006 Science and Engineering Visualization Challenge, sponsored by the US National Science Foundation and Science magazine."
<><>and (quite unrelated) you might want to take a minute to read this delightful tale…

This is me on the way down to Florida. I know I look daft in an idiotic I’m-so-cool-album-cover-photo sort of way, but notso deep down inside I am a total dork and would love to be in a stupid I’m-so-cool band. So here I am, revealing my true colours to you all.
Camp was amazing. I had the wonderful opportunity to work with a group of kids making an original piece of theatre. We created a play based on the epic journey of the hero, complete with a wind machine, disco lights, bad-ass pink floyd remixes from keith, and a beautiful story that I can now carry around in my heart. Memories become private mysteries; something sacred glimpsed through the curtain of my mind. It reminds me of looking into the darkness of a Japanese temple or shrine. The true wonder - looking sideways at the unknown. The best I can do is take a deep breath and I sometimes even manage a smirk.
We have landed safely in Fort Lauderdale. If you’d like to see what Peppy has been up to, you can check out his photos here.
The most wonderful, wonderfuk thing, is that we can go to Aikido every day at an amazing Dojo 10 minutes from our apartment. I am in the presence of Great teachers. It has been hard to start again after a year long without practicing, and I spent the second week on the verge of blubbering in front of the class (which I finally did - and it turned out to be a very useful experience, helping me to address where my Ego was at). It is my Hogwarts.
I owe virtually everybody I know mail, so I should get round to that soon, considering I have rather a lot of time on my hands. Peppy is whining in my tooth aches so goodbye for now.
Oh yes, and there are some new photos in the Gallery.
